Pastor Eric teaches an overview of the Old Testament using the CASKET framework.
OUTCOME AND OBJECTIVES
Outcome:
In this course students will become familiar with the content of the Old Testament, with specific attention being given to the flow of the biblical story and its major themes.
Objectives:
- Students will understand the chronology, structures, and themes of the Old Testament. This includes seeing how Old Testament narratives reveal God’s hand in Israel’s history
- Students will demonstrate knowledge of the Old Testament, being able to recall and identify key people, events and dates
- Students will grasp the missional value of the Old Testament and appreciate its relationship with the New Testament
